• Passengers who do not follow biosafety protocols will be denied entry to the country or may be sanctioned in accordance with Panamanian laws.

• The use of surgical masks is required at all times, except in the following cases:

  • Moments where the identification of the traveler is required in security and migration controls, always respecting the social distancing of 2 meters.

  • Babies two years old or younger.

  • Passengers with respiratory illness, other than COVID that prevents them from breathing with a mask.

Note: In the case of people with a disease other than COVID, which prevents them from breathing with the surgical mask, they must use a face shield and present a medical certificate indicating the disease they suffer and the medical recommendation that they should not use said personal protective equipment. .

Masks must be in optimal condition and must be used correctly. Damp, dirty, or damaged masks should be replaced as soon as possible.

• Passengers must maintain a physical distance of at least two (2) meters in the airport facilities.

• Travelers are subject to temperature controls upon entering the airport.

• If they have elevated body temperature or related symptoms, they will be subjected to a rapid COVID test and / or additional health examinations, to define the necessary measures to take.

  • Passengers will be placed in isolation until results are obtained.

  • If the results are positive, the passenger will be quarantined in a local hotel designated by the Ministry of Health.

• The Ministry of Health could conduct randomized rapid tests at any time.

• The same requirements established above will be applicable to visitors arriving on private flights.
